Exercise for a good cause!!!!




Signing up for a race or a walk can be a perfect way to get yourself motivated into a great workout plan!! There are SO many races that you can find in your area, and they don't have to be a marathon!! Get a group of friends together, and get your body healthy while you raise money for a good cause. Spinach Bean Dip


Summer time make it SO hard to stay on track with your diet, especially at summer parties!!!! Every time I get invited to a party, I offer to bring a dish for everyone to try. I make sure that I make something healthy that I know I can eat. Try this recipe the next time you are invited to a get together!!!!!!!!

Ingredients:
1 box frozen chopped spinach thawed
1 can (15 ounces) white beans, drained and rinsed
1 container (6 ounces) non-fat plain greek yogurt
1 envelope vegetable soup mix (1.4 ounce pack)
1/2 cup of milk ( I used almond milk)

Drain spinach, and squeeze out excess liquid. Place the beans, greek yogurt, and milk in a food processor, or magic bullet. Blend until smooth. Transfer to a portable container or bowl and stir in chopped spinach and vegetable packet. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
I served this with pita chips, but feel free to add some veggies to the dish too!!!!!

Team Savage





Staying on track while eating clean, and exercising can be tough at times, especially during the summer and holidays. I find that having a support group of friends can help tremendously! Not only do I have my husband for support, but I also have a group of friends that are a HUGE support system. I am part of two teams, Cathy Savage Fitness, and Perfect Body Online. www.cathysavagefitness.com and www.perfectbodyonline.com Cathy Savage has created a team of women all ages, that are supportive to one another to live healthy lifestyles. I became a part of this team three years ago, and it changed my life for good. There are incredible ladies on this team that genuinely want each other to succeed in life! Partnership



Working towards a goal can be difficult at times. Many of us who try to live a healthier lifestyle find it difficult when faced with social settings. Why not get your significant other or best friend on the band wagon. My husband and I live the lifestyle together, and it makes it SO much easier! It is very difficult, especially at first, to be around all of the temptation. Make a bet with that person, and make it a friendly competition. Before you know it, you both will be living the lifestyle together!!!!!

Lettuce Wraps!!!!


This is one of my favorite dinners.  My husband and I always have our good fat in our last meal, so this recipe is perfect!!!!!
Ingredients:
-1 head of iceberg lettuce
-1 tomato
-plain greek yogurt(I always use this as sour cream...much healthier)
-salsa
-avocado
-meat of your choice...in this one we used 93% ground beef
-1 packet of taco seasoning (McCormicks)
So all I did was sautee the beef with about half of the packet...save the other for the next time you make it....
-I chopped off the bottom of the head of lettuce and rinsed it
-chop the tomatoes, and avocados
-depending on your macros for that meal, you can use however much of each ingredient......Yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello There!!!
