Spinach Bean Dip

Summer time make it SO hard to stay on track with your diet, especially at summer parties!!!! Every time I get invited to a party, I offer to bring a dish for everyone to try. I make sure that I make something healthy that I know I can eat. Try this recipe the next time you are invited to a get together!!!!!!!!

1 box frozen chopped spinach thawed
1 can (15 ounces) white beans, drained and rinsed
1 container (6 ounces) non-fat plain greek yogurt
1 envelope vegetable soup mix (1.4 ounce pack)
1/2 cup of milk ( I used almond milk)

Drain spinach, and squeeze out excess liquid. Place the beans, greek yogurt, and milk in a food processor, or magic bullet. Blend until smooth. Transfer to a portable container or bowl and stir in chopped spinach and vegetable packet. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
I served this with pita chips, but feel free to add some veggies to the dish too!!!!!

Team Savage

Staying on track while eating clean, and exercising can be tough at times, especially during the summer and holidays. I find that having a support group of friends can help tremendously! Not only do I have my husband for support, but I also have a group of friends that are a HUGE support system. I am part of two teams, Cathy Savage Fitness, and Perfect Body Online. and Cathy Savage has created a team of women all ages, that are supportive to one another to live healthy lifestyles. I became a part of this team three years ago, and it changed my life for good. There are incredible ladies on this team that genuinely want each other to succeed in life! I feel so lucky to have a group of friends that will pick me up when I'm in a rut in my training or diet. Check out their websites!!! You don't have to be a competitor to be a part of this team. I have made life long friends through this program, and am so thankful for each and every one of them!!!!
